Main role: University of Surrey is leading the analysis of the technical feasibility of industry requirements. A comprehensive literature review will be conducted to identify a benchmark for the state-of-the-art (SoA) wind turbine components, such as the gearbox, yaw and pitch system, and the generator. An analysis of wind turbine farm constituents will follow, progressively combining individual components into a complete wind turbine model and then a full wind farm model. The integration mechanism will also be developed alongside data collection efforts, which will focus on gathering and sourcing intricate details about wind turbine components and their operation.
