On February 19, 2025, the Reliability and Safety Technical Center (RSTER) proudly participated in the Horizon Europe Projects Wind Energy Cluster Workshop organised by CINEA – European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency. Representing the TWINVEST project alongside 29 cutting-edge projects (21 RIA, 6 IA, 2 CSA), this key event brought together experts to gain a deeper understanding of the policy landscape, identify synergies between projects, and provide valuable feedback to the European Commission and CINEA.
Key discussions focused on:
- Policy Recommendations: Addressing challenges such as data availability, inter-project test site use, and public acceptance.
- Competitiveness & EU Wind Energy R&I Priorities: Emphasizing the need to strengthen local manufacturing, boost education for talent development, and enhance competitive wind farm services.
The interactive panel sessions provided critical insights for policymakers and project stakeholders, helping to shape the future of Europe’s wind energy competitiveness. This was a truly insightful event that fostered collaboration and innovation, paving the way for a stronger, more sustainable wind energy sector.
